GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH) – An organization promoting downtown Greenfield announced events this week: one for foodies on Friday and one for animal lovers on Saturday.

On Friday, the first Friday Food Truck will take place on Greenfield Main Street in Courthouse Plaza. Lunch is served from 11am to 2pm by The Cajun Boiler, FoxGardin Kitchen and Ale, and Kerry’s Kannolis. Dinner is served from 5pm to 8pm with The Cajun Boiler and Kerry’s Kannolis. Shaun Cotner, a McCordsville singer and acoustic guitarist, will play live music from 6pm to 8pm

On Saturday, the Mutts on Main Fancy Dress Dog Parade will be a fundraiser for the Hancock County Humane Society and Greenfield Main Street. Registration day to attend the parade is $ 20 or pre-registration for $ 15 is available online. The parade begins at 1 p.m. with awards that follow at 3 p.m. The event also includes a pet show with vendors of animal products from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Greenfield is about 10 miles east of Indianapolis.
