Guggman House Brewing Co.
Guggman House Brewing Co. depicts a spirit of adventure and exploration while grounded in home and community. The idea for the Guggman Haus Brewing Co. came about over five years ago from the identical twin Courtney Guggenberger and Abby Gorman and their husbands Derek and Ryan. The Guggenbergers lived in Germany, where they developed an appreciation for quality beer, and the Germans spent time in Denver exploring the mountains and the local beer scene.
Her enthusiasm for exploring cultures, community and nature and ultimately love for craft beer and the moments it creates led to the long journey of developing a physical space where the community can gather and share beer.

“Guggman Haus focuses solely on the customer experience. You step into an outdoor atmosphere where you feel at home on the veranda. The beer is amazing and the constant selection of new beers shows the owner’s pride and experience in brewing. The Guggman House is Indy’s best kept secret, offering first class service and hospitality. “- Ethan H.
Different brows believes craft beer should be fun and push the boundaries of the traditional. Mike and Greg worked for the same company and were transferred to Indy from the Cincinnati area in 1995. They soon got to know their first Belgian beers and have been enthusiastic about a good beer ever since.
It grew into the inevitable challenge of making their own homebrew versions of the joint beers they loved, and they began their beer-making journey about 18 years ago with the donation of their first brewery equipment from a friend. From the start, both found similarities with similar tastes in beer styles, leading to a shared obsession with figuring out how their favorites were made.

“I loved it and was pleasantly surprised. Small place but great beer. The Juicy Caboosey stood out, followed by the Brut ‘le Juice. The guys who worked there were friendly and helpful too. Anyone who founded this must love beer and art, because beer cans and art for sale are galore on the walls. If you’re not sure what to get, choose a flight. ”- Quintin C.

“Had a lot of fun doing this microbrewing yesterday. We travel with our dog and they let dogs into the building! We had the opportunity to get out of the car and stay warm. The bartender was friendly and helpful. The beer tasted pretty good. I highly recommend this place for a stopover in transit and for relaxing after a long week. ”- Christopher P.
Ellison Brewing Co.
Ellison Brewing CoThe amazingly large, spacious, family-friendly deck has the best views of downtown Indy. After Ellison owner Aaron Hanson served in the Marine Corps, which included two missions to Iraq, he was released from active duty. After reaching out to a high school friend who was already established in beer sales, they decided to start Ellison Brewery and Spirits as a craft brewery and distillery.
After four busy years of continuous expansion and production, Aaron took a great opportunity to open the Indianapolis facility. He did all of this while simultaneously exploring other Michigan facilities in hopes of creating an inclusive, electrifying environment for his clientele to experience the best of the crafting world.

“I really enjoyed my visit to Ellison Brewing Co. The bread on my Nashville Hot Yardbird was delicious and the honey mixed with the flavorful chicken was just right. I liked the unique french fry cut as much as the others at my table. I wasn’t a fan of the mayo heavy coleslaw, but that didn’t detract from my opinion on my experience. The toilets were clean too which is always a plus. “- Alyssa R.
Metazoa Brewing Company
Metazoa Brewing Company is an open concept, pet friendly brewery in downtown Indianapolis with great skyline views and over 16 delicious craft beers on tap. Metazoa Brewing Co. was founded in 2016 by Dave Worthington, a homebrewer, animal lover and craft beer lover.
Dave and his family have always enjoyed donating to charities and raising rescued animals, but when Dave dreamed of owning a brewery he realized he wanted something special, and so Metazoa was born. Since that day, Dave has continued to found the company to donate five percent of all company profits to unique animal welfare organizations in Indiana and beyond.
