INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Cold again this evening with a few storms. More snow on Monday afternoon.
TODAY: After a lot of sunshine for the first part of the day, clouds are returning this evening. We will see a few storms during the night hours, but little to no accumulation is expected. It’s getting cold again and the lows fall into the individual digits. The winds get very weak, so the wind chill is not as bitter as this morning.
MONDAY: Monday starts dry with mostly cloudy skies. There is a lot of snow in the area later in the afternoon. Look for snow during the evening commute. Heights rise into the upper 20’s.
MONDAY NIGHT: The snow lasts into the evening and night. The total accumulations in central Indiana reach about 2 to 4 inches. The area takes up 1 to 2 inches. Temperatures drop into teenagers.
TUESDAY: The snow leaves the area, but the clouds stick around the state. Highs rise into the lower 20’s.
8 DAY FORECAST: There is a chance we will see light snow on Wednesday and Thursday as a system moves through the state. Highs remain in the lower 20s. The colder air comes in at the end of the week and stays for the weekend. Highs remain in teenage years and lows can drop below zero early Sunday mornings.
