INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – We have not yet had a typical humid summer day to cope with. The new work week started across the state on a disturbing and damp note with the occasional showers and storms.
Monday night: A few isolated showers will linger until sunset. During the night the sky is mostly cloudy.
You should have the air conditioning on tonight as we are expecting a warm and humid night. Lows will only fall in the upper 60s, with some locations possibly reaching into the lower 70s.
Tuesday: We’re going to practically flush and repeat Monday’s weather for our Tuesday with showers and thunderstorms on and off throughout the day.
Showers and the risk of storms will continue into the night.
Highs will expire in the low to mid 80s, with higher humidity levels remaining.
Wednesday: A wet Wednesday will likely be with showers. We cannot rule out a few rumbling thunder in the afternoon.
Highs will peak in the lower to mid 80s.
8-day forecast: The active weather trend will continue for the remainder of the work week, with very humid air also staying nearby. If we start moving our weather system out of the state, the highs will be in the mid-80s through the weekend. We currently have a mostly dry and warm weekend ahead of us. The highs will stay near the average in the new work week next week.
