HANCOCK CO., Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – Indianapolis-based Ambrose Property Group claims to have another tenant for the growing Mount Comfort Logistics Center in Hancock County and is also planning further expansion. According to the real estate and property developer, Progressive Logistics will rent Building II of the business complex.
Construction on the 506,000-square-foot building began last June and was completed earlier this year.
“The Mount Comfort Logistic Center provides us with a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facility that enables us to further expand our customer base for world-class storage and food-grade services,” said Doug Hayes, director / president of Progressive Logistics. “This facility will offer high quality SQF, AIB and organic certified space as we continue to grow and expand our grocery and e-commerce business.”
Ambrose also says it will add four additional Class A distribution buildings to the campus. The additional structures will bring the Mount Comfort logistics park to eight distribution centers with a total area of more than 3.5 million square feet.
“We expect demand at this location will remain high, which is why we have pushed ahead with plans to expand the park to provide even more buildings that are ideal for sales, logistics and e-commerce,” said Scott Sanders. Vice President of Development at Ambrose.
According to Ambrose, construction of the first of the four new buildings will start in the autumn. A 750,000 square meter building is planned.
