FISHERS, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – Fishers-based Ultimate Technologies Group has announced plans to expand into the city of Hamilton County. The company, which provides advanced audiovisual, IT and technology integration services, has said it has moved to 12,000 square feet in Fishers Technology Park and plans to create up to 25 jobs by 2022.
The company states that its growth was driven by the increasing number of hybrid or all-virtual workers.
“Before Covid, employers mostly had office workers. Currently, most of these employees work remotely, ”said Will O’Brien, president of Ultimate Technologies. “Current data from the Gensler Research Institute suggests that most employees (70%) want to be back in the office for most of their week, while only 12% want to work full time from home. Organizations need help planning the technology impact of a hybrid workforce, where some are in the conference room and others work from home. “
The Ultimate Technologies Group was founded in 2018 when what was then known as Ultimate Automation took over Electronic Evolutions Inc. in Carmel. The company had split its workforce between Carmel and the Indiana IoT Lab in Fishers.
“Ultimate Technologies is another success story that we at Fishers love to share,” said Mayor Scott Fadness. “Just a few years ago, they were a new start-up in Launch Fishers. The team that Will has put together and the growth they will see over the next few years are testament to the entrepreneurship here at Fishers. “
Ultimate Technologies didn’t say how much it is investing in the expansion.
