BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) – A 16-year-old Bloomington was charged as an adult in connection with the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old woman during a robbery.
De’Angelo Tashean Princeton Tolliver Edwards was arrested hours after Keisha Huntington of Bloomington was shot dead Thursday.
He is charged with murder, murder while committing a crime, attempted murder and robbery resulting in serious bodily harm.
The Herald Times reports that Huntington’s disease died from a gunshot wound to her back.
Her friend, who was in the passenger seat of the car, told police Edwards shot the car after pointing a gun at her and asking for money and property.
