INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – According to federal data, eight missing children were rescued in a five-day rescue operation in the Indianapolis area. The US Marshals Service’s Southern District of Indiana says the children are between six and 17 years old in what is known as Operation Homecoming.
One adult was arrested for inter alia parental abduction, gun possession and intimidation.
According to federal authorities, the children are considered “some of the most vulnerable and challenging recovery cases in the region”. The children were given to the Indiana Department of Child Services.
