  EMSL Indianapolis?  Asbestos Testing Laboratory Receives NY ELAP Accreditations

EMSL Analytical, Inc. is pleased to announce that its Indianapolis, Indiana testing laboratory has received accreditation for asbestos analysis in solid and hazardous waste, drinking water, and air and emissions from the NYSDOH ELAP Accreditation Program. EMSL’s Indianapolis laboratory provides these asbestos testing services using polarized light microscopy (PLM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), EPA 100.2 and NIOSH 7400 methods. The laboratory is also recognized by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) and the IRRST for the analysis of asbestos by PLM and TEM.

The laboratory is also accredited multiple times by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA-LAP, LLC). The Indianapolis laboratory is accredited by the AIHA Industrial Hygiene Laboratory Accreditation Program (IHLAP), the Environmental Microbiology Laboratory Accreditation Program (EMLAP), and the Environmental Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELLAP).

The Indianapolis Laboratory offers Legionella Tests, food safety tests, food microbiology, lead and environmental chemistry tests. The laboratory is also certified by the CDC ELITE for Legionella Analysis and by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) for various tests.
