FORT WAYNE, IND. (Inside INdiana Business) – Sweetwater, based in Fort Wayne, is now a mass vaccination facility for its employees. The musical instrument and audio equipment retailer says it has been approved by the state to give its workers the Moderna vaccine.
The Indiana Department of Health says any Indiana company with 1,000 or more employees can run vaccination clinics on-site. Sweetwater has more than 2,000.
All Sweetwater employees, including employees of its subsidiaries and affiliates, can receive the vaccine on Sweetwater’s main campus.
In addition to employees, the company will offer the vaccine to spouses and loved ones of employees over the age of 18.
Sweetwater says the vaccine isn’t mandatory.
The company says many of its employees struggled to make a schedule, and if they did, it wasn’t until May.
