Founders Grounds, Carl's Donuts & Bakery are joining the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum Cars & Coffee as sponsors for the 2021 season

Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum officials are pleased to welcome Founders Grounds Coffee Company and Carl’s Donuts & Bakery to sponsor the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum Cars & Coffee’s 2021 season.

IMS Museum Cars & Coffee (formerly “Speedway Cars & Coffee”) returns on Saturday, June 12th, 8-11am (ET) in the museum’s East Lot, located in the world famous 2.5 mile long IMS Oval .

Founders Grounds, based in Speedway, Indiana, has inherited its name and branding from founding partners of Indianapolis Motor Speedway and is expected to open a coffee shop on the second floor and on the roof of 1414 Main Street in Speedway in early July. Visit Founders Grounds online at: facebook.com/FoundersGrounds.

Carl’s Donuts & Bakery is also locally owned and makes fresh donuts to order daily, along with pastries and a variety of lunches and dinners. Carl’s is located at 7481 EUS Highway 36, Suite B in Avon, Indiana. Find out more here: carlsdonut.com.

“We’re delighted to welcome Founders Grounds and Carl’s Donuts to the IMS Museum family, and personally I’m really looking forward to a hot mug of Founders House Mix and fresh Carl’s Premium Yeast Donut early on Saturday.” said Joe Hale, President of the IMS Museum. “As the museum staff and board of directors are pushing our own vision for the IMS Museum, we are also keen to help local entrepreneurs build their own museum – which will be a great food and drink offering for Cars & Coffee!”

IMS Museum Cars & Coffee is set to continue every second Saturday of the month through October 2021. The popular meeting of automobiles is free and open to all owners and lovers of historical, custom-made and powerful two- and four-wheelers. Visitors who do not own a modern hot rod or a historic vehicle but want to attend the assembly at the IMS Museum Cars & Coffee will be directed to the museum’s daily visitor car park.

The IMS Museum opens at 9:00 am and Cars & Coffee guests should take time to visit the museum’s current exhibitions: “Rocket Rick Mears, presented by Racemaker Press” and “Granatelli: Larger Than Life, presented by Motoring Wealth Advisors of Raymond James ”. The regular museum admission fees apply – find out more at imsmuseum.org.
