CARMEL, Ind. – Garmann Miller, an award-winning design firm with offices in Minster and Columbus, recently opened an office in Carmel, Indiana with Studio M Architecture & Planning.
Firms will provide a range of professional design services, from commercial architecture and engineering to interior design and construction management.
Studio M and Garmann Miller are located on 2 W. Main St. in Carmel, Indiana and will serve a diverse customer base. Studio M, with offices in Carmel and Indianapolis, has focused its craft on large-scale, mixed-use real estate that includes residential, retail, and office space, while Garmann Miller operates his 61-person firm primarily through K-12 education, community, community, healthcare – and faith projects.
“Both companies have a similar purpose – to have a significant impact on how people live, learn and work in the communities in which we serve,” said Eric Baltzell, CEO of Garmann Miller. “This partnership enables us to use each other’s special resources to best meet the needs of our customers.”
Dan Moriarity, owner of Studio M, and Matt Hibner, director of Garmann Miller, previously worked together at an Indianapolis-based company. The two licensed architects recently teamed up to discuss opportunities for partnerships that resulted in a shared office and service sharing.
“The capabilities of our two studios go well with building experience and individual talent,” said Moriarity. “Studio M’s private development and mixed-use knowledge, combined with Garmann Miller’s unparalleled educational experience, provide our customers with a unique combination of skills and enhance the capacity of any business.”
