Jamie Sherrill, known on the internet as Nurse Jamie, is the founder of the Beauty Park Medical Spa in LA. After gaining cult status among the Hollywood elite, of course she opened a second location in Abu Dhabi and then launched her own antiaging skin care line, sold at high-end retailers like Nordstrom, Sephora and Neiman Marcus . Next station? Netflix. Sister Jamie co-hosts the brand new show Skin Decision: Before and After, which helps clients become familiar with their bodies. All eight episodes can now be streamed.
Sister Jamie’s “before” photo exists somewhere in an Indiana yearbook. Like his friend John Mellencamp, Sherrill grew up in Jackson County. We suspect that this was partly what she had in common with the singer of “Small Town”, because what are the chances really? The couple were recently spotted at Evil by the Needle, a popular Bloomington tattoo parlor. According to the tattoo artist, Mellencamp was there for moral support. Are tattoos then probably skin care-friendly?
Sherrill was well established before the couple went public earlier this year (they confirmed the relationship with IM). Their Uplift Massaging Beauty Roller ($ 69) went viral – on the one hand, no big surprise given that facial rollers and lymphatic drainage have a moment. But it’s a different thing when A-listers like Lea Michele, Hilary Duff, Chrissy Teigen, and even Jonathan Van Ness, everyone’s favorite queer eye, are on social media using the purple wand as part of their morning routine to help themselves squeeze and roll for firm, glowing skin.
At Skin Decision, Sister Jamie and Dr. Sheila Nazarian use her magic and help real clients with common problems like cystic acne, wrinkles and much more by employing a combination of the most modern surgical and non-surgical solutions. The ears open for Mellencamp tracks.
