By May 11th or until 500 qualifying messages are submitted, whichever comes first, MTN DEW appeals to racing fans Indiana to join Project Green Means Go by submitting their name and messages of hope for the locals Indianapolis Community on mtndewgreenmeansgo.com. To submit, consumers must register an account and use the navigation to navigate to Project Green Means Go. Messages with a maximum of 60 characters can contain:
- Share your love for Indianapolis
- What about the city that inspired you last year?
- Rally screams championing your Indy 500 pride
- Thank you to those who kept the city going
The first 500 fans to submit their qualifying messages as detailed in the Terms and Conditions will be featured on one of 500 green flags unveiled for the Indy 500 racing weekend. The campaign is open to lawful residents of the State of Indiana, 18+. You can find the full terms and conditions here.
Any valid message sent will unlock one $ 40 Donate to the Gleaners Food Bank of Indianaand its “Nobody Runs Empty” campaign on behalf of MTN DEW to support frontline workers who have helped the needy last year and to fight hunger in needy communities up to a maximum donation of $ 20,000. Once 500 flags are filled, the submissions will be closed.
The 500 MTN DEW “Project Green Means Go” flags will be unveiled in collaboration with Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Celebration Plaza in White River State Park to kick off the race weekend. INDYCAR driver Marco Andrettiwho will carry the Gleaners Food Bank from Indiana Name and mission on his racing car, will host an inauguration ceremony and the presentation of the Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana on behalf of MTN DEW to dedicate the immersive installation Indianapolis Residents and Indy 500 fans as a reminder of strength, hope and resilience. The installation will persist throughout the Indy 500 race weekend (28.-30. May) to give fans the opportunity to walk through the installation for inspiration and find their messages on the green flags.

“Project Green Means Go” is part of a month-long MTN DEW “Green Means Go” campaign inviting racing fans and giving them a head start in celebrating the Indy 500, including limited-time Indy 500 MTN DEW 20-ounce bottles, exclusive content -Publications, retail events, and daily chances to win exclusive gear for race day.
Regardless of Project Green Means Go, fans can enter the program competition by scanning participating MTN DEW products at mtndewgreenmeansgo.com. Daily winners will win epic gear to enhance their race day experience and have the chance to win the Grand Prize Race Day starter kit. Fans can also submit a bonus grand prize by sharing a photo on social media using #MTNDEWGreenMeansGo and #Sweepstakes.
