INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) – The crowd at Victory Field will soon be growing. The Indianapolis Indians have announced that the ballpark will be 50% busy from June, after starting the season at 25% in early May.
The Indians will have two homestands with a total of 12 games against the Columbus Clippers from June 1st to 6th and against the Memphis Redbirds from June 15th to 20th. Fans can buy lawn bowls for up to six people and seat bowls for two to six people.
Each game has space for up to 6,900 fans.
The team says it will follow current guidance from the Marion County Public Health Department that requires face coverings for all fans over the age of two. Fans are only allowed to remove masks if they are actively eating or drinking from their seat.
The Indians welcomed fans to Victory Field last Tuesday for the first time since August 2019. The team announces that it will update the capacity percentage and guidelines for Victory Field upon approval by the MCPHD.
