Local designers are installing more accessible, stylish lights than ever before.
You are familiar with walk-in closets. So why not enjoy the same easy access in the bathroom? Curly showers are all the rage in the design world, transforming bathrooms into unencumbered, modern spaces that should be high on your list if you are remodeling to sell. Curlyless, also known as zero-entry showering, means there is no lip or pan to step into. The area can be enclosed with glass panels or left completely open to the rest of the space. Aside from looking cool, the design also provides safety for those with mobility issues as it is safer than stepping over an edge.
Local remodeling and design studio A co has seen the style rise in popularity as customers revitalize their bathrooms. If you are worried about water flowing everywhere, don’t be. “With a well-planned and properly installed drain in the middle or at the back of the shower, this shouldn’t be a problem,” says Keriann Logan of A co. The company’s studio and showroom at Hub & Spoke, a new residential design hub in Fishers, is a good place to test the water.
