A really long bike ride was planned for Jerry Miller today, but all for a good cause.
Miller rode his bike out of Indianapolis and ended up at the Angela Athletic Center on St. Mary’s campus this afternoon.
The trip took over 150 miles to raise funds for the Riley Foundation.
Miller started out at the Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
He says the ride went smoothly except for a few impatient drivers.
He’s happy to have raised more than $ 500 and to spread something positive at a time when we all need a little.
“I struggle with autism and obsessive-compulsive disorder,” Miller said. “I had a tough few years before 2020 and I needed something to regain my spirit. One thing I’ve learned, no matter what life throws at you through the hills and curves, just keep your feet on the pedals.”
Jerry says he wants to send a big thank you to everyone who donated and inspired him along the way.
